Thirty-one subjects received nine alternating 633 nm (126 J/cm2) and 830 nm (66 J/cm2) Omnilux LED treatments. By week 12, 81% reported significant improvement in periorbital wrinkles and 52% showed a 25-50% improvement in photoaging scores.

Caveats

  • No untreated control group, and the headline wrinkle outcome was self-reported.
  • Doses (66-126 J/cm2) are far higher than several other positive trials - a vivid example of how inconsistent 'effective' dosing is across this literature.
